Tell your U.S. senators: Let us fix our stuff. Pass the Fair Repair Act.
The tech industry’s monopoly on the repair of electronic devices costs people money and harms the planet by generating mountains of electronic waste. The bipartisan Fair Repair Act would help by requiring manufacturers to provide access to the parts, tools and information needed to fix our own stuff.
This bill comes at a perfect time for the Right to Fair Repair movement -- we’ve been gaining momentum with dozens of states taking action, an executive order from President Biden, and growing interest on Capitol Hill.
But the opposition is out in full force: Lobbyists representing the major manufacturers are spending big to keep the Fair Repair Act from passing. Will you add your name right now to show Congress that Americans want the Right to Fair Repair?
